How to place an order

You can place an order through our website by clicking the 'Add to Cart' button on the items you wish to purchase, and going through the checkout procedure. You may also order by telephone by calling 44 (0)1981 252962 between 9:15 am and 4:45 pm Monday - Friday. Additionally, if you would like your order shipped to an address in a non-EU country, please e-mail or telephone for the shipping rates.

You are provided with means for identifying and correcting input errors prior to the placing of the order: you can alter the quantities of items in your shopping cart (including complete removal), and after you have entered your personal details and address they will be presented to you in summary. If you need to alter them, please use the Back button to return to the input form, and make your changes. If you create an account with us, you will be sent a username and password so that you may log in at any time and change your account information.

You have the choice of paying by cheque or credit/debit card - handled on a secure server by SagePay, a recognized, reliable third party. If you wish to pay with PayPal ( orders@curiousminds.co.uk ) select Cheque as the payment option and then go to the Paypal site. Orders are not shipped until payment is received.

Delivery

Delivery charges and estimated delivery times.

Our goal is to despatch all orders received before 2pm on the same day, otherwise by the working day following receipt of the order and payment. Occasionally an order may be delayed by a day or two, but this is rare.

Note that delivery estimates are only ESTIMATES and that variations do occur. Note also that weekends are NOT included.

If the product requested is out of stock, we will notify you via email of the delay and the expected shipment date.

Customs

If you are outside the European Union, you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from Curious Minds, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Cancellation and returns

You can cancel your contract at any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail us or write to us. You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.

The product must be in a saleable condition, which means that the item and its packaging must be relatively undamaged (barring minor tears) so please take some care when opening cartons. DO NOT tape it up with duct tape! Costs of returning the goods are your responsibility. DO NOT return the item without first contacting us as we will be unable to give you a refund. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.

Goods returned by the mailing agent, e.g. as undeliverable, will be refunded minus cost of postage and a £3.00 handling fee.. Please take care to give as complete an address as possible, including full postcode.

If you cancel your order and fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection.

This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights, for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Faulty goods

If the items purchased were damaged in transit, are faulty, or are not the items you ordered, please notify us immediately. We will either refund you or replace the product.

Changes to these terms

We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply to future orders.
